Pull Apart Pesto Bread


1 teaspoon yeast in

⅔ cups of warm water until foamy

Knead that together with

2 cups flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon olive oil

Cover the bowl and let this rise until doubled

Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls, about an inch big

Roll each ball in pesto (I use about 1/4 to 1/2 cup)

Arrange each ball in a bread pan (or double this recipe and use an 8x8 square pan)

Let this rise until it's at the top of the pan

Then top it with your favorite Italian cheese (Like Parmesean or mozzarella or a mixture)

Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes

This is a favorite in the van. We are pesto fans and it is so easy to make.
